About Caption Globe
Think of Caption Globe as a well-organised pinboard for diy — every idea picked on purpose, explained properly, and easy to come back to.
How Caption Globe started
I started Caption Globe after a friend asked me how I always had clear, funny captions for my photos. I realized I wasn’t doing anything magical, I was just collecting what worked while I was building little things around my apartment. One weekend I made a few simple upgrades, took pictures, and wrote captions while the paint dried.
When I posted them, people started asking for the how. So I kept going, testing one idea at a time, then writing down what I’d change next time so you can skip the same trial-and-error.
What you'll find here
On Caption Globe, you’ll find DIY ideas for home, paper, and everyday organization, plus the caption templates and wording tweaks I use when I’m photographing my progress. I’m a one-person blog, so you’ll see my real steps, the parts that failed, and what I changed after. I’ve tried most of these on my own shelves, drawers, and walls, and I’m honest about what works for small spaces and limited time.
Why you can trust Caption Globe
Everything here is written and edited by one person — me, Clara Finch. A guide only goes up when it says something useful, and I go back to fix or update pieces as they age. Spot something off? Tell me and I will correct it.
